After nearly 20 years together, RONDO Magazine is saying goodbye to print.
For us at das formt, this is more than just a project report—it’s a heartfelt tribute to the print magazine and, at the same time, a launchpad for digital innovation.
For two decades, we have been working with RONDO Magazine for Classical Music and Jazz. We have shaped, guided, and continually refreshed the brand, defined its typography, developed its editorial design, and brought each issue to life. The final print issue was published in December. An emotional moment, but not a farewell—rather, a transformation.
From now on, our focus is 100% on our digital presence. As an agency, we didn’t just design the rondomagazin.de website—we played a key role in developing it.
The shift to “digital-only” opens up entirely new creative horizons for us and our readers:
