One Cup at a Time Toward Your Dream Job: Siebendächer Baugenossenschaft eG’s Trade Show Appearance

13.10.2026

How can you get students excited about an apprenticeship in the housing industry? For Siebendächer Baugenossenschaft eG, we developed their entire presence at the Memmingen Apprenticeship Fair—from the booth design to flyers and a multimedia presentation, all the way to an interactive game and contact follow-up.

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, numerous companies from Memmingen and the Unterallgäu region showcased their offerings to the next generation at the BBZ, JBS, and FOSBOS schools in Memmingen. Right in the thick of it: Siebendächer Baugenossenschaft eG—featuring a completely new booth for the first time. The message was clear: Good housing is our job—make it yours.

Challenge: A profession that many people are not yet familiar with

Real estate agent—at first, many young people can’t quite picture what this job title entails. Yet the training program at Siebendächer combines business, social skills, and technology into a single profession. Our task was to make exactly that tangible: What actually happens behind the front doors of a housing cooperative? And why is this a career with a future? Because today, young talent isn’t just choosing a job—they’re choosing an employer brand with a clear identity. At a trade show where dozens of exhibitors are vying for attention, this requires a presentation that stands out, sparks conversation—and leaves a lasting impression.

A cohesive concept

As a trade show design agency, we conceived and implemented the entire booth concept holistically:

  • Concept & Communication: A clear, youth-oriented message that presents the training program on an equal footing—without the feel of a job interview.
  • Exhibition Booth: A newly designed booth featuring Siebendächer’s updated brand identity, which conveys openness and invites visitors to stop by.
  • Flyer: All the facts about the training program in a compact, take-home format—from the different stages within the cooperative to the career prospects afterward.
  • Multimedia Presentation: A visual look at how a blueprint becomes a home and why cooperative living is fair and secure.
  • Interactive game: Cup stacking as an icebreaker—whoever stacked the cups into a pyramid and took them down again the fastest was immediately rewarded with a can of Red Bull. An iPad was also raffled off among all participants.
  • Lead Tracking: A well-thought-out process to ensure that conversations at the booth turn into actual applications.

Stack, marvel, strike up a conversation

Whether or not someone stops by a booth is decided within the first few seconds. Cup stacking proved to be a real crowd-pleaser. What sounds simple actually requires steady hands and a clear head—and thus fits perfectly with a housing cooperative whose core business is building something stable, piece by piece. For every attempt, participants received a Red Bull as an instant prize, and with a raffle for an iPad among all participants, taking part was doubly worthwhile. Above all, however, the game lowered the barrier to participation: Those who had just been stacking against the clock naturally struck up a conversation with the Siebendächer team about the apprenticeship program.

The work doesn’t end on the evening of the fair, though. Through structured follow-up with contacts, interested individuals stay engaged—from the initial meeting all the way to a trial day or internship. Incidentally, we’ve already demonstrated how apprenticeship marketing in Memmingen can be approached in a refreshingly different way for Stadtwerke Memmingen.

We’d like to thank Siebendächer Baugenossenschaft eG—and especially the apprenticeship team—for their trust and fantastic collaboration. We’re already looking forward to seeing who will be starting the next apprenticeship cohort at Gerberplatz.
